Bio:
The eldest of Roxanne Heartlin's two children, her features are most reminiscent of that fine, fierce jaguar blood unique to this Matriarchy. That is, of course, aside from the shorter and more wolfish, fluffy tail that came from their father. She is a flannel and jeans girl, most often paired with boots or sneakers, she keeps sideswept, layered auburn hair over her ears. You can bet she has music playing any chance she gets, too!

Avery is a soul full of compassion, put wholly on display at her job, where she’s in the position to offer help to everyone who is less fortunate. Her girl-next-door personality and style make her one of the most popular and beloved of the Heartlins; A sweet smile always on her cheeks and an honest generosity running thick through her blood. She took care of Finn all their lives, standing by his side in the hardest moments and laying in his bed in the best moments. In fact, while she’d never fully admit it, Avery refuses to let Finn sleep alone. They may have a bunk bed set up in their shared room, but his bed was to remain empty. Nothing can bring her more comfort than having him there, warm and soft, ensuring she can get a fulfilling night's sleep. After all, Avery is bold in her needs, and will advocate for them with an immovable tone. Is she spoiled? Probably. She will not throw a tantrum or start a fight, but Avery knows what she wants and likes to stand her ground so she can get it- often with eyebrows raised or eyes rolling from the one she is toying with. Her particular brand of sass is the kind that makes others smile when dealing with her, shaking their head and giggling any time her path is crossed. She boasts a mind and mouth which can get the best of every person she meets and they will always come back for more. But, if her patience is shredded and that playful attitude burns into fangs being shown, Avery displays the flame inside; a strong will which cannot be shaken, she shows there's a true jaguar under that beautiful face and charmingly sassy personality that should not be trifled with.

She fits the mold perfectly for a woman who may not gussy up in dresses but still steals hearts and turns heads when she is out catching bugs. She loves them, centipedes being her favorite, and she can't help but laugh when Finn or anyone else begins to flinch or squeal at the sight of those creepy crawlers running up her arms.. let alone when she brings them into the house! All of these traits only burn brighter with the bubbly personality of the tomboyish beauty. And, the lucky ones will see that behind closed doors she can boast gorgeous sets of lingerie that will make jaws drop.

As life is now, she is frequently taking her place as Roxanne’s right hand gal, to keep the household in its welcoming state. While they now have school and jobs to attend, Avery pines for the days she can come back and cuddle up next to her little brother, her best friend. These nights are the best and what keeps her going for the rest of the time she is away. Of all the family she is one of the more mature ones even with her adorable bursts of sass, but when it gets dark or she gets needy, she will have her darling little brother right into her arms within a moment, and then he'll be into more than that much sooner. Those who know the deeper side of the family can see her love in full force when it comes to taking care of her little brother Finn, to which she will scale mountains and endure turbulence of any form. Being a young woman with her head in all the right places and natural desire for fun, Avery Heartlin has a brattiness to her.

Avery has such an undying love for Finn and her mom that she will do anything it takes to keep them both happy and fulfilled with whatever work, time, or request is needed- even if some eye rolling or witty remarks follow it. The purity of her heart- as taboo as the love inside of it may be to the outside world- is untainted by anything dark or corrupting. Her reputation is as stunning and shining as the hereditary Heartlin blue eyes which greet everyone with an honest trustworthiness. Avery holds candles above anyone else, aside from their mother of course, when it comes to claiming the only male heir in the Heartlin bloodline. They were raised together, glued to each other, and always sharing their bottom bunk bed when they're home together.
